Connect your tools
The Moochy app on your machine gives your tools two ways in: an MCP server and an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible API. Both stay on your machine, behind a token that is limited to one project.
Works with your agent
Two doors into the Moochy app on your machine: the MCP server (any agent with MCP delegates work to donated tokens) and the API (agents that accept a custom base URL use donated tokens as their model). Each agent's exact settings are in its guide.
Logos belong to their owners and appear only to say Moochy works with these tools.
1. Install and sign in
Install the Moochy app from the open-source client releases, then:
moochy login # approve the code in your browser
moochy upInside your project, print the setup for your tool, or add --write to merge it into the tool's own settings after showing the change:
moochy connect claude-code --repo owner/name
moochy connect list # every agent the app can configureTokens are never written into files tracked by git.
2. MCP server
Two tools: moochy_delegate runs a self-contained task on donated tokens and returns the result marked as untrusted content; moochy_pool_status shows what is left this month and which models are online.

}Agent frameworks and containers can use http://127.0.0.1:<port>/mcp with the token from moochy env --repo owner/name. In CI, sign in a server with moochy login --headless and give it its own limit.
3. OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API
Point any compatible tool at the app on your machine and use the local token as its API key:
moochy env --repo owner/name
# ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=http://127.0.0.1:<port> OPENAI_BASE_URL=http://127.0.0.1:<port>/v1
# plus a token limited to this project, used as the API keyPython
from anthropic import Anthropic
client = Anthropic() # reads ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL and the key
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI() # reads OPENAI_BASE_URL and the keyTypeScript
import Anthropic from "@anthropic-ai/sdk";
const client = new Anthropic();
import OpenAI from "openai";
const openai = new OpenAI();Some editors send custom models through their own cloud, which cannot reach your machine. Use the MCP server there.
Works with these providers
Donors serve requests with their own key from one of these providers:
| Provider | Serves | Add the key |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | Anthropic API | moochy keys add anthropic --key-stdin |
| OpenAI | OpenAI API | moochy keys add openai --key-stdin |
| OpenRouter | OpenAI and Anthropic APIs | moochy keys add openrouter --key-stdin |
| DeepSeek | OpenAI and Anthropic APIs | moochy keys add deepseek --key-stdin |
| xAI (Grok) | OpenAI API | moochy keys add xai --key-stdin |
Your API keys stay on your machine. Moochy never stores them online.
Use a separate key with a spend limit set in the provider's console.
